Message from the Principal - Sr. Parveen Rehmat

History starts with the people not with the bricks. Sacred Heart Cathedral High School has its long glorious history. The people who made it happen are the heroes and the foundation stones. The name of Fr. Emrick OFM cap stands at the top of the list, the founder of the school. He was a man of vision who thought to educate the nation and bring it to the world of new learning. He believed that "Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Nelson Mandela School owes a lot to the Dutch brothers, Br. Manfred and Br. John for the wonderful services that they rendered to this institution.

The years teach us much, which the days never know. In the beginning there was co- education but in 1978 the boys were shifted to main St. Anthony one Lawrence Road to make it more compatible for girls. Since then it is providing quality education focusing on the grooming of the future women.

All the Principals put their efforts, hard work, dedication and commitment to make this school academically, socially and intellectually beautiful. They all had dreams; some of them made it a reality. The dream of publishing a School Magazine is a long awaited story. We have taken plenty of time to make it a truth because it required not only the training of mind, rather an attitude.

Thus the words of Jesus will become a beckon that "You are the Light of the world".

Illume is a collection of charming memories of the magnificent history and hall mark for future generation, as someone said, that life can only be understood backwards; but must be lived forwards. It is the fruit of the struggle of our past and present students and teachers. It will provide you an opportunity to study the creative, imaginative, apparitional and literary talents of students and staff....Read the Rest
